Art and furniture student Darragh Casey exhibited a series of photographs of an installation he created called Shelving the Body, at Central Saint Martins 2012 Degree Show. Focusing on the shelves in our daily lives and how our personalities interact with our belongings. The simple and well designed idea is inspired by his father, who used each moment of boredom as a chance to build and put up another shelf on the wall.
Do not even try to understand the practicability of this project, but instead try to appreciate its oddity and playfulness. The resulting photos are not so bad either.
