Mesmerizing Installation Made From 3,144 Bicycles

Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto, Canada is hosting “Forever Bicycles” installation by Chinese artist and activist Ai Weiwei from October 6 through 27th. The artwork consists of 3,144 interconnected bicycles which covers 100 feet long by 30 feet wide space. This is the first time Forever Bicycles is being displayed in an open air area. Mesmerizing 3D structure is a part of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche art festival – an event going through the whole Toronto with different installations and art performances.

Streets of Montreal Gets A Musical Light Swings Treatment

In a new open space in front of Université du Québec à Montréal’s Science Faculty, Canadian design collective Daily Tous Les Jours has just completed their project 21 Balançoires (21 Swings), an installation of swings turned into enormous musical instruments that also light up from below. The designers, known for their wide variety of interactive public installations and experiences, managed to focus primarily on public engagement and interest. McDonald’s Reflective Billboard Only Visible at Night

Advertising agency Cossette, based in Vancouver, BC, came up with a brilliant billboard design for McDonald’s restaurant. To target potential customers of the night looking for a fast meal on the go, a reflective billboard was designed which during daytime appears to be blank with no message, but at night the driving cars’ headlights reveal an advertising message that reads “Open all night”; definitely an attention grabber.
