Guardian of Karnak Temple – Luxor, Egypt For today’s Picture of the Day, we have this magical snap by Australian photographer Jarrod Castaing taken on his visit to Luxor, Egypt on March 01, 2010 of the Karnak Temple. The Karnak Temple complex is a vast open-air museum and the largest ancient religious site in the world. It is believed to be the second most visited historical site in Egypt; second only to the Giza Pyramids near Cairo.
